Cancellation Policy – Thinairexpedition
At Thinairexpedition, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be transparent and fair, keeping both your flexibility and our operational commitments in mind.
Cancellation by the Participant:
Time Before Departure | Refund Policy |
---|---|
30 days or more | 50% refund of the total amount paid |
15 to 29 days | 40% refund of the total amount paid |
7 to 14 days | 20% refund of the total amount paid |
Less than 7 days | No refund |
Note: All refunds are processed after deducting any non-refundable charges like permits, bookings, and transaction fees.
Rescheduling Policy:
You may request to reschedule your trek up to 15 days before the trek date without any additional charge.
Requests made within 15 days of the trek date may incur a rescheduling fee.
Cancellation by Thinairexpedition:
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any trek due to:
Natural disasters (landslides, floods, storms)
Government restrictions
Unforeseen operational challenges
In such cases:
We will offer a 100% credit voucher for the full amount paid, usable within 12 months.
If you prefer, a full refund will be issued (excluding non-refundable bookings or permits).
Refund Mode & Timeline:
Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
Please allow 7–10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
Important Notes:
No refund will be provided for no-shows or for leaving the trek mid-way for personal or health reasons.
We strongly advise participants to carry travel insurance to cover last-minute cancellations, medical emergencies, or unforeseen travel issues.
